P&K MIDWEST EXPANDS INTO QUAD CITIES WITH TWO NEW LOCATIONS
ACQUIRING RIVER VALLEY TURF- LOCAL JOHN DEERE DEALERSHIP
[DAVENPORT, IA] Local John Deere dealership, P&K Midwest, has expanded with the acquisition of River Valley Turf, a neighboring dealer with two Quad Cities locations- one in Davenport, Iowa & the other in Silvis, Illinois. The two new locations join P&K’s existing nine locations throughout eastern Iowa. This will be P&K’s first location in Illinois.
The acquisition of the two River Valley Turf locations was finalized & the first official day of P&K business is Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
Jordan Lang, P&K General Manager, had this to say about the acquisition: “P&K Midwest is excited to add the Davenport, IA & Silvis, IL stores to our current geography in east-central Iowa. The opportunity to serve the Quad City market brings excitement and the responsibility of selling & servicing Deere products in the community where Deere & Company calls home. We look forward to welcoming the River Valley Turf team to the P&K organization, and thank the Seyller family for the opportunity to build on the business they’ve built over the past 20+ years.”
Paul & Patty Seyller, of River Valley Turf, will be joining the P&K team as Store Managers. Paul had this to say: “We look forward to joining the P&K organization. We’re excited for the opportunities this will bring to Quad Cities customers.” P&K plans to keep much of the same staff intact through the transition. Says Lang: “Like at our existing P&K locations, there is a hometown, family atmosphere at both River Valley Turf stores. We want to foster that & keep building on it!”
