About the P&K Training Program
Are you interested in building a career as a John Deere Service Technician but unsure where to begin? The P&K Midwest Service Technician Training Program is designed to prepare future technicians for a successful career working with advanced agricultural, turf, and compact construction equipment. This program combines hands-on experience, real shop training, and industry-leading technical education.
P&K Midwest- partnering with Northeast Iowa Community College (Peosta, IA), Kirkwood Community College (Cedar Rapids, IA), and Hawkeye Community College (Waterloo, IA)- offers a comprehensive two-year college internship program that leads to an Associate of Applied Science degree. Students split their time between classroom instruction and on-the-job training at a P&K Midwest dealership, gaining the skills and experience needed to launch a successful technician career.

Candidate Requirements
1. A high school degree
2. The minimum requirements for admission into the college and/or university
3. A two-year commitment of employment with P&K Midwest, post graduation
Program Options
While completing the two-year program, P&K service technicians will learn through a balanced rotation of classroom theory & hands-on application. Time will be split between on-campus learning and real-world application at the dealership. Upon completion of the two-year program, our technicians will receive an Associates degree in Applied Science through one of our partner schools
