OUR HISTORY
Founded in 1985 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, by Barry Pollard and Wendell Kirtley, P&K began with a commitment to providing honest, reliable equipment solutions to local communities. That same philosophy of honesty, courtesy, and urgency continues to guide us today.
In 2012, P&K expanded into eastern Iowa with the launch of P&K Midwest, bringing the trusted P&K approach to customers throughout Iowa and Illinois. What began as a single location has grown into a strong 10-store dealer network, serving farmers, landowners, and commercial operators across the region.
Our P&K Midwest locations span key agricultural and rural communities in eastern Iowa and northern Illinois, providing full-line John Deere equipment, parts, service, precision ag support, and dependable, local expertise. As part of the broader P&K family, we’re proud to combine decades of experience with deep Midwestern roots to support the people who grow, build, and maintain our communities.
Over the years, our continued growth has strengthened P&K Midwest’s ability to support the customers and communities we serve. By expanding our network and deepening our expertise, we’ve built a stronger foundation of knowledge, service capability, and equipment solutions. Today, P&K Midwest offers one of the region’s most comprehensive selections of new and used John Deere equipment- from compact machines to large-scale agricultural models- backed by a team of more than 600 dedicated professionals across the broader P&K organization.

That’s why we maintain an extensive parts inventory, employ over 80 factory-trained service technicians across our stores and mobile service units, and uphold our long-standing partnership with the 175-year-old John Deere brand.
